Fall 2025 Programs


                       

Our Core program is a recreational program built on the Six Philosophies of Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Open Registration and Player Development.

The age divisions have been revised to the 1 August - 31 July school format .

Fall 2026 Core Program:
Spring Core program runs from September to November  This program is for ages 5-15. Registration for the Spring 2026 season is OPEN.  There are discounts for multi-family players.

Practices begin 12 August  ( For teams that have one certified coach)
 
Games begin on 12 March  and end 16 November   

Volunteer coaches, referee, team parents, field support and region board members are needed for this program. Coaches and team parents register for each season. Once registered from previous season, there is very little need to update certifications.  For questions, contact [email protected]

Every player plays ¾ of the game.

Most games are local.   All U6-U8 are at Van Buren Elementary School.  U10 -U18 games are played at home with some games at Orange, Costa Mesa, Irvine, etc.

Costs are low.  The total cost for insurance, uniforms, pictures, field maintenance,   Hundreds of dollars less than Club programs.

The best way to guarantee a spot for your child on a team is to register as a coach. 
The coach selects the time and day(s) that fits the coach's schedule.  Coach training and equipment are provided by the region. Mentors are available for coaches who would like additional support for practices and games.  Coaches and team parents must register for the spirng season

Referees can select the games and times that meet their schedule so they do not conflict with their children's games.  Referee training and equipment are provided by the region. Mentors are available for help during games.  Referees register once a year in the fall season. For questions contact [email protected] 

The U6 and U8 teams practice once a week.  They will play games on Saturdays at Van Buren Elementary School, Placentia.. 

The U10 - U16 practice twice a week and play games on Saturdays. There is some travel for these age groups to other neighboring regions in the area.  Home games are either Jean Woodard Park, Yorba Linda or Champions Sport Complex, Placentia. 
 
Registration includes uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), insurance, pictures, practice, coach and referee training and equipment, and game field costs.

Fall KickStart Program (Takes the place of Playground and Schoolyard)  
This is a separate program from the core program.  This program is for 2- 3 year old kids  (1 August 2022-31 July 2024 )    This program is designed to provide players with soccer skills and game experiences so they are better prepared for entering the organized practice and game program. This program is a parent and me activity, introducing them to soccer and having fun. Parents are required to participate with their children on the field during the session. These sessions are led by professional coaches.  The children will do fun drills and then break off into teams and scrimmage against each other. This program is on Friday evenings for 50 minutes 
  
The 50 minute  practice contains skills and game (scrimmages) experience.  Volunteer coaches are needed to help with the scrimmages. 

Registration includes professional coaches, camp shirts , insurance, and field costs.
