Fields & Game Day Responsibilities
We are grateful to the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District and the Cities of Yorba Linda and Placentia for allowing us to use their fields. As guests, it is our responsibility to respect and care for these facilities at all times.
⚽ Goal Setup & Tear-Down
- First game of the day: Set up the goals for your field
- Last game of the day: Take down and secure all goals
- Upper Champions Field (Placentia): If you are the last team in your division playing, you are responsible for teardown — even if games continue after yours
- Note: U12 and U14 use different goal sizes — do not mix them
🚨 Field Closures & Weather
Even if fields are not officially closed by the city, AYSO expects all coaches and families to use good judgment.
- Do not use fields that are overly wet or damaged
- No play during lightning storms
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, or unsafe air quality conditions
- When fields are officially closed, the region will communicate directly

🐾 Pets & Service Animals
- No pets allowed at AYSO fields
- This policy helps ensure a safe environment for all players and families
- Service animals are permitted in accordance with ADA regulations
Service animals are defined by the ADA as dogs (or in some cases miniature horses) trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities. Other animals do not qualify.
