American Youth Soccer Organization Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

Yorba Linda/Placentia - Region 1398

What's Happens Now?

Immediately following the last registration date, the board begins the process of finding volunteers. AYSO is a 100% volunteer organization. There will be a MANDATORY Parent meeting for ALL parents, new or returning, at the Yorba Linda Community Center.
We will begin seeking out volunteer coaches, referees and team parents. Division coordinators then begin the process of balancing players into cities, and gather evaluations.

Once this is completed, identified coaches must obtain age appropriate training and certifications. Numbers of teams are decided upon, uniforms are ordered and fields are planned for city permits

For questions about your child's team or games, your first point of contact should be your coach and/or team parent, followed by the appropriate division coordinator.  Please contact them first.

For questions about registration and how to sign up to play, please contact us at registrar@ayso1398.org .

To request a refund, see the information on our Refunds page.  Contact our Regional Treasurer at [email protected] with questions.

When will the players be contacted?

Coaches will contact their players immediately following the Coaches Meeting. The Board has requested all coaches to contact their teams on, or before February 15. See our Events Calendar for updated Information Fall or Spring.
When the coach contacts the players they will have the appropriate information with regards to practice fields, days and times. Remember, because of the amount of effort the coach has invested in AYSO, the coach will pick the practice day and time.

The Coach Contact Date has Passed and My Child Has Not Been Called. What Do I Do?
If your child has not been contacted by the Coach Contact date, please send an email to your Age Division Coordinator, so your concern may be immediately addressed with the appropriate action.
